Spotlessly clean caravan, and very well equipped with everything we could want. Such a beautiful location - quick walk to the beach, and most nights we sat by the caravan watching the sun set over the fields.

The hosts completely deserve their super host status! Their place is absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. The check-in instructions were really easy to follow and came in plenty of time, the directions were very easy to follow too. There was a welcome gift when we arrived of wine and snacks which was extremely thoughtful and just what we needed after such a long journey. The chalet itself is stunning! Exactly like the photos and so well decorated - beautiful! Everything has been thought of with a great manual of how everything works and recommendations for restaurants and activities. Even Cornwall themed Monopoly! There is tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and oil to get you started. The location is lovely with great views and Rock is a charming village with shops and places to eat. The ferry over to Padstow was fun and we were only half an hour away from Merlins Cave. We had a wonderful week - thank you!

Fantastic caravan with everything you need. We loved the quiet location and enjoyed watching the cows in the fields. Most evenings you can watch the sunset from the caravan too. Ample crockery, domestic supplies, and cutlery - all in lovely condition. Uber clean caravan with cosy beds and fluffy towels. Cannot fault anything.

Charming place to stay, everything has been thought about for you, waking to the sunrise over the Cornish lanes is such a treat. Highly recommend, we will be back.

Lovely chalet/lodge in beautiful quiet location. Right next to Porthilly cove; you can walk across to Rock beach quite easily. Rock beach is one of the best beaches we have been to and isn’t over touristy at all. Plenty of space for everyone to keep distanced, particularly when the tide is down. Accommodation was very modern and comfortable and was perfect for our 1-week family getaway. We had great instructions and there were little personal touches that made our trip a little extra special. Certainly recommend this lodge.

Lovely modern chalet in beautiful Rock. Located within short walking distance to Porthilly beach and Rock centre. The chalet was clean, comfortable and had all amenities you needed. Carolanne also added some lovely personal touches which made our holiday extra special. Would highly recommend staying here.

We have had the best week at Carolanne’s place. We can’t recommend it enough! It is a fantastic spot. A couple of minutes walk to porthilly beach and only a few minutes drive to rock beach. The interior was so beautiful! Gorgeous rugs and throws! She has all then amenities you would have at home! She has thought of everything! Even having bamboo plates and cups for the kids! We haven’t stayed in a chalet before and we were so impressed! This was by far the best in the park! We will be coming back and recommending to everyone. Thank you!

Highly recommend if you want to be away from the crowds but within easy access of some good restaurants for the evening. Wonderful location on a quiet caravan park close to the beach and nature. Excellent hosts and very well equipped chalet with some stylish touches.

If you want a stylish modern chalet a stones throw from the picturesque Porthilly beach located on a private quiet site then I can’t recommend enough. We had a fantastic time staying here with our baby daughter and will definitely recommend to others.

Our stay at Carolanne’s chalet was perfect. The space was stylish, cosy and very clean. It also looks a lot bigger than in the photos. Very close to Porthilly cove and a short walk to the shops and restaurants in Rock. Very peaceful area with friendly neighbours and lots to do. Carolanne was always quick to respond and left us lots of helpful guides and recommendations for the area. Would definitely recommend!

Carol Anne’s chalet is a marvellous place to spend a holiday in the coastal village of Rock which is situated on the beautiful Camel Estuary. The chalet is very new with just about everything you need for a relaxing and indeed luxurious stay, we have just spent 2 weeks there and can honestly say all our needs were catered for from the moment we arrived. Communication with Carolanne was excellent and she seems to have thought of everything her guests might need from detailed instructions on how everything works to tourist guides and useful hints on the local scene.Everything in the chalet is top quality from cutlery to bedding etc. My wife and l cannot recommend the chalet and its situation enough. Our first time venturing into the world of airbnb's and thank goodness we went for this one! It exceeded our expectations in every area. Absolutely spotless , all mod cons, beautifully furnished, fully equipped kitchen & utensils, spacious open plan layout, super comfy beds, outside hosepipe so we could hose down our wetsuits etc....basically like a home from home which made things so much easier at the end of a long day on the beach! The location was fantastic, lovely and quiet and walking distance to the beach and local shops/ restaurants. Our hosts were fantastic at looking after us and all our queries were answered promptly. We will definitely want to rent out the lodge again next time we holiday in Cornwall and have no hesitation in recommending this to our friends / family. Thank you Carolanne & Luke for making our stay so relaxing and stress free.

We highly recommend this chalet so beautifully furnished and has everything you can possibly need. The area is very quiet with idyllic countryside. Location is great with a short stroll to the great Rock beach. We loved the fact we could buy fresh Porthilly oysters and other shellfish from the local growers so close to the site of the chalet !

We absolutely loved the stay in the chalet. It was even better than we had imagined. It was beautifully presented in a location that was perfect for us. The cow crossings in a morning were not noisy and only enhanced our stay. We hope to return.

Absolute gem of place, both the chalet and location are amazing. The chalet was extremely clean and modern throughout and had everything we needed. Luke and Carolanne were great hosts, to the extent Luke rescued us when our tyre blew a few miles away. Looking forward to go back again for sure.

What an absolutely fab place to stay. A very clean, modern and stylish chalet, set in the corner of the site so not over-looked and very peaceful. Pictures and description of property are exactly as described, all mod cons, washing machine and dishwasher and extremely well equipped with kitchen equipment and utensils. King-size bed has a very comfy mattress and the single beds were full size unlike what you get in many chalets/caravans. Great location: Porthilly beach only 5 mins walk away, Rock beach & Padstow ferry 20–25-minute amble or so. Pubs, spar, deli, bakery and fishmongers all within walking distance. You could if you so wished, leave your car parked for the whole week. My test with any Airbnb is would I return, and would I recommend to family and friends? Yes, yes and yes.

The chalet was a perfect base for our holiday. Tucked away at the top of the caravan site, it is quiet, peaceful, and exactly as listed with easy walking access to Porthilly beach and further on to Rock (~15min walk). There are plenty of other beaches to choose from a short drive away (Harlyn Bay around 40mins for some great paddle boarding) and we found the ferry over to Padstow useful for more activities, eating, hiking, more eating and cycling the Camel Trail. Overall the chalet was very comfortable and spacious with everything we needed. The bakery voucher was a very welcome addition and much enjoyed. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

A very spacious and immaculately done up chalet at the top edge of a static caravan park a short distance from Rock. The interior feels like an upmarket hotel suite and was pristine on our arrival. The kitchen is equipped with very good quality kit. Linen and towels were plush. There’s no Wi-fi (and so no Netflix etc) but 4G was fine. No views other than the surrounding field and static caravans, but there’s a private outdoor area to one side and it’s a short walk to the small Porthilly beach, and not too far to the handful of cafes and the lovely beaches at Rock. Overall lovely stay - would come again.

Incredible hosts, location, and accommodation! Exactly as described, beautiful accommodation & location near the beach - very impressed and will definitely return. Carolanne & Luke’s instructions were perfect to help guide us to the location, and they have a very useful folder with information at the accommodation which was Perfect- very impressed 😀

It was picture perfect, very well furnished, and came with lots of extra supplies. A great addition was all the books and info on what to do. My favorite part was how close to the beach we were, just a short walk! My friend also loved how close to the cows we were. The only downside was the bed was small but I’m on the taller side, besides that it was very comfy and we had a fantastic stay.

That was a really unforgettable long weekend at the very nice place. Everything was spot on and exactly as described by Carolanne & Luke. The site was very quiet, well maintained and had everything what you need on short breaks or even longer holidays but also located very close to all local amenities. Caravan looked like brand new from catalogue and had everything what you need and expect (apart from Wi-Fi but we was looking for a place without it to have a proper rest). All equipment in caravan was new and well branded giving you a felling you’re not in caravan but luxurious apartment. Carolanne as a host was brilliant, was very helpful and informative (make sure you’ll read manual on arrival before asking a question cause really everything is there ;)). Plenty of beautiful places, beaches and location around it. Really well worth the money and defineately will be back for more in future!!!
