About Our Park

Porthilly Caravan Site originally opened in the 1960’s as a touring van site. Since then, the site has grown and evolved into a static caravan and chalet site. Nestled on the banks of the Camel Estuary, just off the beaten track, the park benefits from being moments from Porthilly Beach.

Over the years the site has been kept well-hidden and peaceful, with no bars, restaurants, or clubs. The park is just a short walk across Porthilly beach to Rock and all that the Camel Estuary has to offer. Most of the caravans are privately owned, but we do have a small selection available to hire.

We believe we provide the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or some much needed family time.

On Site Laundrette

On Site Laundrette

There is a small laundrette on site which accepts £2, £1 coins and 20p’s. A wash is charged at £5 and dryer at £4.

Parking

There is parking for one car alongside your caravan, and guests are welcome to park a boat too if required.

Dogs / Pets

We have one dog friendly accommodation option.

We allow one small well behaved dog at a charge of £30 per stay. We ask that your dog is kept off of all soft furnishings, must not be left unattended in the caravan, and must be kept on a lead at all times on site.

See what our guests have to say...

Spotlessly clean caravan, and very well equipped with everything we could want. Such a beautiful location - quick walk to the beach, and most nights we sat by the caravan watching the sun set over the fields.

The hosts completely deserve their super host status! Their place is absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. The check-in instructions were really easy to follow and came in plenty of time, the directions were very easy to follow too. There was a welcome gift when we arrived of wine and snacks which was extremely thoughtful and just what we needed after such a long journey. The chalet itself is stunning! Exactly like the photos and so well decorated - beautiful! Everything has been thought of with a great manual of how everything works and recommendations for restaurants and activities. Even Cornwall themed Monopoly! There is tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and oil to get you started. The location is lovely with great views and Rock is a charming village with shops and places to eat. The ferry over to Padstow was fun and we were only half an hour away from Merlins Cave. We had a wonderful week - thank you!

Fantastic caravan with everything you need. We loved the quiet location and enjoyed watching the cows in the fields. Most evenings you can watch the sunset from the caravan too. Ample crockery, domestic supplies, and cutlery - all in lovely condition. Uber clean caravan with cosy beds and fluffy towels. Cannot fault anything.
